We have the 2007 black forest award 8-day cuckoos clock in our home. It is a beautiful piece that we want to keep forever.

Thanks to you guys for making authentic stuff like this in this electronic age.

But, we are having an issue with accuracy and precision that Germany is known for.

The clock always is late. We tried various lengths of pendulum piece but that does not solve the problem. Also, sometimes the clock stops on its own especially when night out is turned on.

We would like to get some help.

ps do you think that the angle of hang off the wall has any impact on all this?

Dear rauniyar,

please put the clock on a straight wall so that the clock hangs with no angle.

Please use a screw for hanging the clock on the wall.

The clock has to be set up straight, as decribed in the manual.

Please let me know, if the clock then runs corrects.

Sincerely,
Claus-Stefan

Claus-stefan,

I tried all your suggestions, still, the clock runs off by hours and hours. It gives correct time twice daily that is about it.

I feel let down that I spent so much monies on something that does not do what it is supposed to do.

Help me!
