The cuckoo calls every half hour once and the number of the hours every full hour. With certificate of authenticity from the Black Forest Clock Association (VdS). It has a mechanical extreme long-life rack strike movement. The 8 day running time movement need to be wind up once a week, that means you pull on the chains until the weights are up. It allows turning the hands left and right without endangering the mechanics of the movement. The size refers only to the clock, without pendulum and weights.

In 1848, Anton Schneider began manufacturing cuckoo clocks in his farmhouse in Schonach in the Black Forest. Production moved to Triberger Strasse in Schonach in 1952. Since 2026, production has taken place at the Gütenbach site on Hauptstrasse. Anton Schneider places particular emphasis on the time-honored tradition of this craft and consistently high quality. The company has its own carpentry, woodcarving, and clock assembly departments, allowing all production steps to be carried out in-house.
