The angel is one of the best-known and most meaningful figures of the Erzgebirge Christmas tradition and stands for light, comfort and protection - values that have a special meaning in the Advent and Christmas season. This 21 cm tall light figure is elaborately handcrafted and carefully glazed so that the natural wood grain remains visible and gives the angel an authentic, lively surface. Equipped with two discreet candle holders, suitable for pyramid candles with a diameter of 14 mm or modern Lumix candles, it allows flexible and atmospheric lighting, with both variants available in our shop. With its calm appearance, the figure fits stylishly into classic and modern room concepts and is equally suitable as a festive accent in the living area, as a loving gift or as part of a carefully designed Christmas decoration.

The Company Seiffener Volkskunst eG was founded in 1958 by artisans of Seiffen. In 1959 they started with the production of original Erzgebirge crafts. They carved, turned, spanning trees were stung, items painted and mounted to Erzgebirge wood art figures. The range has been extended again and again in the following years. They manufactured not only nutcrackers, also different types of smokers, light figures Angel and Miner, pyramids and small arches and the later known Striezel children. Since 1992, the Seiffener Volkskunst eG is presented at numerous trade fairs. Apart from the traditional and original items, numerous new collections were created. The Seiffener Volkskunst eG is also member of the Association of Erzgebirge craftsman and toy manufacturers eV.
