The set of angel and miner brings out the traditional symbolism of Christmas in the Ore Mountains in a particularly compact and charming way. With a height of only 12 cm, the two figures are ideal for small windows, narrow ledges or as a stylish addition to existing arrangements. Both light figures are made of selected wood, carefully lacquered and assembled with a lot of craftsmanship love. In their hands they carry small, finely crafted white wooden candles that pick up on the character of classic light carriers - without a real flame, but with harmonious charisma and loving design. The angel stands for light, protection and comfort, the miner for strength, endurance and the deep roots of the region. The Company Seiffener Volkskunst eG was founded in 1958 by artisans of Seiffen. In 1959 they started with the production of original Erzgebirge crafts. They carved, turned, spanning trees were stung, items painted and mounted to Erzgebirge wood art figures. The range has been extended again and again in the following years. They manufactured not only nutcrackers, also different types of smokers, light figures Angel and Miner, pyramids and small arches and the later known Striezel children​​. Since 1992, the Seiffener Volkskunst eG is presented at numerous trade fairs. Apart from the traditional and original items, numerous new collections were created.
