The miner is one of the central figures of the Erzgebirge Christmas tradition and impresses in this special version with an artistically designed yoke with four electric LED flame candles (16 V, 0.2 W). The delivery includes transformer and spare bulb, so that the figure is immediately ready for an atmospheric Christmas decoration. A special detail is the inscription on both sides of the yoke: on one side is Glory to God in the highest, on the other and peace on earth. The freely rotating yoke gives the figure an individual, expressive effect. The 46 cm high Lichterbergmann is made of selected wood in traditional handicraft, carefully lacquered and painted by hand. With its clear design language, electric lighting and symbolic lettering, it is an impressive eye-catcher for any Christmas decoration.

The Company Seiffener Volkskunst eG was founded in 1958 by artisans of Seiffen. In 1959 they started with the production of original Erzgebirge crafts. They carved, turned, spanning trees were stung, items painted and mounted to Erzgebirge wood art figures. The range has been extended again and again in the following years. They manufactured not only nutcrackers, also different types of smokers, light figures Angel and Miner, pyramids and small arches and the later known Striezel children. Since 1992, the Seiffener Volkskunst eG is presented at numerous trade fairs. Apart from the traditional and original items, numerous new collections were created. The Seiffener Volkskunst eG is also member of the Association of Erzgebirge craftsman and toy manufacturers eV.
