The angel has always been one of the most important figures in the Erzgebirge Christmas tradition and, as a heavenly messenger, stands for light, protection and the good news of the Christmas season. This finely crafted light figure expresses all this atmospherically, with clear lines, loving details and high-quality paintwork. Made of selected wood, carefully lacquered and assembled by hand, she holds two filigree candle holders in her hands, which can be used flexibly for classic pyramid candles with a diameter of 14 mm or modern Lumix candles, both variants of which are available in our shop. The angel is ideal as a festive accent on the windowsill, as part of a traditional Christmas decoration or as a gift with symbolic power, and its clear design language and high-quality finish make it a figure that will give pleasure for years to come.

The Company Seiffener Volkskunst eG was founded in 1958 by artisans of Seiffen. In 1959 they started with the production of original Erzgebirge crafts. They carved, turned, spanning trees were stung, items painted and mounted to Erzgebirge wood art figures. The range has been extended again and again in the following years. They manufactured not only nutcrackers, also different types of smokers, light figures Angel and Miner, pyramids and small arches and the later known Striezel children​​. Since 1992, the Seiffener Volkskunst eG is presented at numerous trade fairs. Apart from the traditional and original items, numerous new collections were created. The Seiffener Volkskunst eG is also member of the Association of Erzgebirge craftsman and toy manufacturers eV.
