Junge Ben from the series Erzclique shows in an impressive way how modern design and Erzgebirge craftsmanship are brought into harmony. Clear lines, the calm blue colour scheme and the deliberately reduced design give it a contemporary aesthetic that nevertheless remains firmly rooted in tradition. A striking detail is the rotatable magnetic head: With a slight movement, the posture of the figure can be changed and individually adjusted - sometimes attentive, sometimes thoughtful, always unique. The figure, which is about 20 cm tall, is made of solid wood, is painted in several steps and assembled by hand with great care. It is made in Seiffen, the heart of Erzgebirge folk art. The integrated glass tube offers a wide range of uses - whether as a mini vase, for small sweets or as an original packaging for cash gifts.
